Cranial Osteopathy Safe for Pregnancy

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]

A pregnant patient has returned to me for 2 or 3 treatments as she found my previous sessions so beneficial while pregnant. She asked me how cranial osteopathy works for low back pain during pregnancy.

The sacral release is most likely working now not only on the so called cranial rhythm but more importantly on the muscles, tendons and ligaments as you work to take the torsion, shear forces out of the lumbar sacral joints.

Cranial Osteopathy is safe for pregnancy and in some way it is easier working with a pregnant lady with cranial osteopathy as the responses should be fast and effectively. If you are lucky, often only 2 or 3 sessions brings about pain relief. If not then you need to look for other causes of pain which may have been overlooked.

As for cranial osteopathy for babies, over the past 25 years I’ve developed a gorgeous gentle rocking approach which calms both the baby and parents.
